Aaron King (SH.09-14) is the music composer of a brand-new theatre production, Come Dine With Me: The Musical and it is coming to theatres this summer. Having debuted at the Norwich Playhouse, it is running at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, before transferring to London next month.
Synopsis: Take a bunch of tuneful strangers. Mix in a dollop of behind-the-scenes skulduggery, a Sound Man playing detective, a sprinkling of star-crossed love, and plenty of juicy arpeggios. Marinade, cook for 60 minutes... and serve hot.
The result is a mouth-watering fusion dish, combining the beloved TV show and a sumptuous original score to form Come Dine With Me: The Musical – a winning recipe that will delight even the pickiest palate! (Warning: May Contain Spice.)

Aaron has been composing since the age of seven. He is an MA Composing graduate of the National Film and Television School, having graduated in 2017 from the University of Oxford with a 1st Class degree in Music. He enjoys writing works in a variety of media but his main focus is on music for film and musical theatre.
In the world of film, projects Aaron has worked on have seen nominations and awards at the Royal Television Society awards, the BAFTA Student Awards, London Independent Animation Festival and a variety of international festivals. He has worked as an orchestrator for BAFTA nominated composer Lorne Balfe on various projects including Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning part 1, Dungeons & Dragons: Honour among thieves, and Netflix series Life On Our Planet.
