The sun was shining, the fish may have been hiding, but a fantastic day was had when we welcomed the OM Fly Fishing Club to Kingfisher Trout Lake near Bromyard on 11th May. Thanks to the support of Adam Wharton, teacher of Religious Studies and Philosophy and a keen trout angler, six pupils were invited to join OMs for a day of fishing.
With some excellent tuition from Adam and the OMs they soon picked up casting the fly and were hooked - and a brilliant phone-free day!
Thank you to OMFFC Secretary, Robert Leachman (7.66-71) who helped organised the day and Nigel Milroy (1.66-70) and Tony Butler (5.66.-71) who came along to support.
